Enjoy the peaceful sounds of a summer evening, viewing the sunset while exploring the reservoir.
Guests are required to bring their own canoe/kayak/s.u.p. along with a Type III PFD (personal floatation device) vest style. Guests can unload watercrafts near the upper portion of the dam. Pre-registration is required. The cost is $10 per person for non-members. Members will receive a 50% discount.
This is a limited participation event for 20 guests. Sign up online below.

Enjoy an evening along Bays Mountain Reservoir from the comforts of your own canoe/kayak/sup (stand up paddleboard) while viewing the night sky.
It’s an astronomy program with a twist. Join park staff in the middle of the reservoir for a guided tour through the night sky. Learn about constellations and viewable plants with the unaided eye.
Guests are required to bring their own canoe/kayak/sup along with a type III personal floatation device. Guests can unload water crafts near the upper portion of the dam. The cost is $10.00 per person.
Note: If the weather is clear to partly cloudy, the program will commence. If it is fully cloudy to rain, the program is cancelled.
