KINGSPORT - City crews will be tying-in new water lines in two areas on Friday, requiring water service disruptions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.  Residents along Southwood Drive in the Rock Springs area, as well as residents in Colonial Heights along Beechwood Road, Lakeridge Street, Kim Drive, Cedarwood Court, and Gilder Private Drive will all experience service outages during the day Friday. Residents are advised to consider turning off their water heaters to prevent potential damage during the service interruption, and, as always, motorists are asked to be especially alert in these areas for work crews.
