The American Legion Hammond Post No. 3 will be co-sponsoring the 1st Annual American Flag Benefit Ride on Saturday, October 10, 2009.  All proceeds from the 1st Annual American Flag Benefit Ride will go to the purchase of brand new flags for American Legion Hammond Post No. 3. 

The trip will be approximately 100 miles round trip and the ride is estimated to last about three and one half hours.  Signups for this event will begin at 8:30am at Cloud Park on the day of the event.  The benefit ride will depart at approximately 10:00am from Cloud Park.  Cloud Park is located at 717 W. Center Street in Kingsport.  Free parking will be provided at Domtar Paper Mill, beside the park, for all participants in this benefit ride. 

The cost for individuals wishing to participate in this benefit ride will be $10 per person.  Following the event, lunch will be provided to all participants  of the ride at Cloud Park.  Again, all proceeds from the 1st Annual American Flag Benefit Ride will go to the purchase of brand new flags for American Legion Hammond Post No. 3. So, get out the motorcycle and come support your local American Legion.
